Based in Baltimore, Dr. David Censits is a consultant who provides medical/legal and science writing guidance. He previously served as a consulting staff physician and psychiatrist at Locums Tenens.com/LT Medical LLC in Philadelphia. In this role, he provided direct clinical care and clinical supervision at the Friends Hospital Crisis Response Center and other locations. Prior to that, Dr. David Censits was a solo practitioner through Rittenhouse Neuropsychiatry, where he treated patients with head injuries and neurological and psychiatric disorders. He improved patient health through psychotherapy, as well as medicine management and exercise. He also taught courses to residents and mentored medical and psychiatry students. During this time, he also served as an attending physician and sleep specialist at Abington Memorial Hospital.

Dr. David Censits earned his medical doctor degree from Kimmel Medical College and completed a psychiatry residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed a fellowship in sleep disorders at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Sleep and Respiratory Neurobiology, and more recently achieved a master’s degree in applied positive psychology.
